LAWRENCE, Kan. - Jayhawks can get a first look at the University of Kansas' 2008-09 television ad Monday evening at Traditions Night or by visiting KU's new YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/KU.
The 30-second advertisement, titled "A Great Place to Be a Champion," promotes KU as a great place to be challenged and inspired.
"There are so many ways to be a champion, in the classroom or the lab and of course walking down the hill at commencement," said Marlesa Roney, vice provost for Student Success. "It's a real challenge to tell the story of the University of Kansas in only 30 seconds, but we hope this will give viewers an idea of why KU is such a special place."
The ad will air during selected Jayhawk football and basketball broadcasts, but it also will be available all the time at www.youtube.com/KU.
