They came by the dozens. Anxious students with their rolling carts, microwaves, televisions, computers, and more. Some bringing everything but the kitchen sink. Most students had their parents in toe. Mom and Dad helped with the lifting, organizing, and purchasing of those last minute "necessities."
Before long the room was ready. Tears began to well up as parents said their good-bye's leaving their young adult to fend for themselves on a strange campus. While some rolled their eyes, other students embraced the moment and gave mom that one last hug.
