MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) _ Kansas State University is expecting a record number of new international students this fall.
K-State is expecting about 250 new undergraduate international students will enroll.
More than 700 international students have been admitted to the university. In fall 2007, the university's new undergraduate enrollment was 153.
Provost and senior vice president Duane Nellis says that increase is ``a win-win for both American students already on our campus and for international students joining us this fall.''
K-State's total international student enrollment is expected to exceed last year's 1,220, which was a 15-year high.
