While debate over joining the E-verify system dominated discussions Tuesday night, Topeka City Council members had plenty of other issues on their agenda.
The council voted unanimously to approve an interlocal agreement for the Shawnee County emergency communications center to be run by the Sheriff's office. County Commissioners approved the agreement last week.
Also, council members deferred for the fourth time whether to approve an amendment to the College Hill redevelopment agreement which will provide reimbursement of $100,000 to the city. They'll take up the issue again August 26th.
