(Topeka, KS) - The Topeka Police officer charged in an off-duty shooting will be able to have contact with witnesses after all.
A judge ruled Monday to modify bond conditions for Jason Judd that barred him from having contact with witnesses, many of whom are Shawnee County deputies and fellow TPD officers.
Judd is charged with two counts of aggravated battery in connection with a shooting March 18th.
Brothers Daniel and Devin Llamas were critically injured after someone fired shots at a party they were at in Topeka.
Judd and three other off-duty officers were also there, Judd is the only officer charged right now.
He is scheduled for a motions hearing October 10th.
