Eisenhower Library Sponsoring Forums on Issues

ABILENE, Kan. (AP) _ The Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum is planning three forums on national political issues in September and October.

The library in Abilene is sponsoring the events with the Institute for Civic Discourse and Democracy at Kansas State University. The two will have a kickoff celebration at 7 p.m. Aug. 19 at the Eisenhower center.

The first forum, on national security, will be 7 p.m. Sept. 11 at the Kansas State University Alumni Center in Manhattan.

The second event, on energy policy, is scheduled for 7 p.m. Sept. 30 at the Salina campus of Kansas State University.

The third forum, on health care, is set for 7 p.m. Oct. 21 at the Eisenhower library.
