Funeral Arrangements Made For Kansas' Oldest WWII Vet

Frontenac, KS (WIBW)--Funeral arrangements have been made for Frank Bozick who served in World War II and is the oldest known veteran in Kansas.

Bozick died early Saturday morning at the Sunset Manor Nursing Home in Frontenac.

Bozick was drafted at age 38 to fight in World War II. He was born Feb. 11, 1903, was the oldest living veteran in the State of Kansas; he was 105-years-old.

A rosary will be held with visitation to follow Friday at Friskel Funeral home in Frontenac.

Saturday family and friends will gather at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for Bozick's funeral service beginning at 10AM.
