An organization that helps out the community, is cutting programs to improve its financial situation.
United Way of Greater Topeka and Let's Help announced today that the agency's Board of Directors approved a reorganization plan developed to balance the agency's budget.
Let's Help Board President Lisa Gilchrist says the agency will concentrate on core programs vital to the Topeka Community, and refocus efforts.
A few food distribution programs will be discontinued and their warehouses put up for sale.
