Topeka, KS- Jim Slattery, candidate for US Senate, released his fourth television ad, "Priorities," Tuesday.
In the ad, Slattery questioned Sen. Pat Roberts' priorities while serving in Congress. For example, Roberts "voted for $230 million dollars to build a bridge to nowhere in Alaska" and "even voted to add three trillion dollars to our national debt."
In contrast, Slattery helped "lead the fight against pork barrel spending" when he was in Congress and according to the National Taxpayers Union was one of the most frugal members of Congress.
At the end of the ad, Slattery pledged to "set the right priorities" including "fighting to reduce our deficit."
