Man Stabbed Several Times Over Money

Topeka, KS (WIBW)-- A man is stabbed several times at his home on 709 Tyler street Sunday.

Topeka police say a man kicked down the door of the victim's home and started stabbing him because he owed him money.

The victim was able to call 911 and when AMR arrived they transported him to Stormont Vail with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say thanks to the help of family members working with them they were able to locate the suspect. He has been arrested and booked into the Shawnee County Jail on a count of aggravated battery and aggravated burglary. His name has not been released.
