A six year-old girl was shot late Wednesday night inside a home in the 1700 block of SE Pennsylvania of Topeka. She was with two other children and two adults around midnight when a drive-by shooter fired into the house, striking her, according to police reports.
An ambulance rushed the girl to the hospital where she was treated for, what officials describe as, non-life-threatening injuries.
the gunfire also damaged the home and a vehicle.
