A Wheaton, Kansas man is accused of beating his two-month-old son so severely, the boy is in critical condition.
24-year-old Douglas Bibbs is charged with aggravated battery, child abuse and aggravated endangering of a child. The offenses are alleged to have occurred on or between Thursday and Sunday in Wheaton.
Hibbs' son is in critical condition at Children's Mercy Hospital.
Hibbs is in jail on $30,000 bond. If he's unable to make Bond, he's expected to make a first court appearance August 5th.
