(Topeka, KS)--Construction at 21st & Urish nearly put the 2 Harts candle store out of business. Owner Cindy Tennant was frustrated by the location of the construction -- and concerned her store might have to close.

That's when Connie Cook -- owner of downtown's Marion Lane Candles decided she would step in.

She said Topeka businesses have to work together to make sure dollars would stay in the community. She also said she had considered opening a store in that location, so she could easily see herself in the same position.

Now, both stores are selling items out of the Marion Lane location -- at no cost to 2 Harts.

Click the video to hear from both owners -- including Tennant's emotional reaction to the gesture.
