Governor's Residence Due for Maintenance

TOPEKA - Cedar Crest is getting some extra attention.

The Kansas Governor's residence is undergoing maintenance soon. Because of that, Cedar Crest will be closed to public tours Monday, August 11.

The Governor's office says workers will remove and clean carpets
and repair a living room ceiling that has sustained some water
damage.

Public tours will resume Monday, August 18th at 1:00 p.m.

Private tours are conducted Monday and Tuesday of each week. Public tours are available Monday afternoons from 1:00 to 3:30 PM.
