LEAVENWORTH, Kan. (AP) _ A northeast Kansas man has been bound over for trial in the shooting death of his pregnant girlfriend and unborn child.
Sedale Fox of Lansing is charged with one count of capital murder and one count of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder in the death of Olivia Jackson. After a preliminary hearing, a Leavenworth County judge on Tuesday found that there is enough evidence to try Fox.
The 20-year-old Jackson, who was due to deliver her baby in March, was shot to death inside Fox's mobile home on Jan. 22.
Another man was charged with one count of conspiracy to commit murder, relating to a bombing at Jackson's Leavenworth home on Jan. 11. The bomb was placed under the home and extensively damaged its foundation, but Jackson and her older sister escaped unharmed.
