Topeka, KS- The Slattery for Senate campaign announced Tuesday that Jim Slattery raised $932,210 for his race for the U.S. Senate.
"I'm encouraged by the financial support we have received," Slattery said. "It shows that Kansans are eager for new leadership in the United States Senate."
The campaign filed a financial report with the Federal Election Commission Monday reporting $646,085 in contributions and $638,846 ending cash on hand. The report covers the period of April 1-July 16, 2008.
Slattery received contributions form 1746 donors; 70 percent of donors are from inside the state of Kansas.
