TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) - A former executive director of the Kansas Democratic Party has been indicted in Pennsylvania.
36-year-old Brett Cott is among 12 people accused in a scandal involving illegally siphoned taxpayer dollars from the public treasury to underwrite political campaigns.
Cott headed the Kansas Democratic Party in the 1990s.
