Drug Investigation Nets Four Arrests

MANHATTAN, Kan. - On July 9, 2008, the Riley County Police Department was involved in a narcotics investigation that led to the arrest of four people.

The investigation resulted in two search warrants being served in Manhattan, Kan.

The investigation resulted in the seizure of approximately 3/4 lb. of cocaine, more than $2,000 in currency and three vehicles.

The investigation is a result of an ongoing investigation into the distribution of cocoaine in the Riley County area.

Arrested were:
-Travis Dowing, 23: Sale of Cocaine, Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine, No Kansas Drug Tax Stamp, Unlawful use of a telecommunication device
Bond $5,000
-Anthony Roberts, 27: Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine, No Kansas Drug Tax Stamp, Unlawful use of a telecommunication device, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Distribute
Bond $100,000
-Kelsey Klucas, 20: Sale of Cocaine, Conspiracy to Distribute Cocaine, No Kansas Drug Tax Stamp, Unlawful use of a telecommunication device, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (felony)
Bond $20,000
-Beauyett Young III, 27: Possession of Marijuana
Bond $2,000
