MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) -- Riley County police say a 24-year-old man died while working out at his Manhattan apartment complex due to health problems.
At 9:16 AM on Wednesday, September 19, 2012, officers were called to 509 Stone Drive, the address for the Highland Ridge Apartments for a report of a person not breathing in the clubhouse at the complex.
Officials say Brennen Johnson, 24, was exercising and collapsed in the exercise area of the clubhouse and died. Johnson, according to police, suffered from a pre-existing medical condition and his death appears to be the result of a medical situation.
An RCPD spokesman says there is nothing suspicious about Johnson’s death.
