Autistic Boy Drowns in Wichita Lake

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) _ A 3-year-old autistic boy has drowned in a
Wichita lake.

Wichita Fire Department Battalion Chief Rob Hughes says the boy
was found dead Friday night in water near the bank of the lake at
O.J. Watson Park.

The lake is popular for fishing and paddleboating.

Friends of the boy's family said he was autistic and unable to
speak.
