Boil Water Advisory Rescinded for City of Chautauqua

CHAUTAUQUA, Kan. - The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) has rescinded the boil water advisory for the city of Chautauqua in Chautauqua County.

KDHE issued the advisory on June 28, 2008, due to a loss of pressure caused by pump failure.

Laboratory testing indicates no evidence of contamination, and all other conditions that place the system at risk of contamination are deemed by KDHE officials to be resolved.
