Kroger and Dillons late Thursday expanded a beef recall announced earlier in the day.
A Dillons spokesperson says, based on new information they're getting from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, they have decided to expand the recall to all in-store ground beef products. That includes styrofoam tray packages wrapped in a clear cellophane.
The beef they're recalling has a sell by date between May 17th and July 3rd. Dillons says beef that was in stores Thursday is not included.
People who have any of the affected beef can return it for a refund or replacement.
