Alma resident have the okay to turn the taps back on.
Alma city officials put out a request to all Alma water customers early Monday afternoon to conserve water. They said a water main coming from the city's water plant had broken. By 5 pm, they were still digging to locate the leak. But by 10 pm, they said it was all right for people in Alma to return to normal water useage.
