Investigators believe a lightning strike is to blame for a Friday morning house fire.
It happened around 7 am, north of Topeka at 6747 Northeast Indian Creek Road. The home was not occupied but it was for sale.
Soldier Township Fire Chief Richard Maginot says the home suffered around $112,000 in damage.
Fire crews from Topeka, Hoyt and Soldier Township all were called to the blaze.
