Operation Falcon roundup nets 125 Kansas fugitives

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) - The U.S. Marshals Service says authorities arrested 125 fugitives in a weeklong operation in Kansas targeting sex offenders and violent criminals.

The annual sweep is part of a nationwide project known as Operation Falcon. U.S. Marshal Walter Bradley said Friday that agents cleared a total of 181 warrants and seized 10 firearms in Kansas.

The U.S. Marshals Service worked with state and local authorities to make the arrests.

Operations were conducted from June 15 to June 21 in Wichita, Topeka and Kansas City, Kan.
