22 Year-Old Washburn Rural Grad Dies In Ohio Wreck

Marysville, Ohio (WVLT) -- A 22 year-old Topekan died last Thursday following a wreck in central Ohio. Kyle Bruggmeyer had been in Columbus, Ohio working as an engineer for Goken America, according to his obituary.

Graduating from Washburn Rural High School in 2009, Bruggmeyer was a member of the school's varsity swim team, an Eagle Scout, and a member of the National Honor Society.

After high school, he attended Oklahoma State University and earned a bachelor's degree in aerospace and mechanical engineering.

Memorial services have not been announced, but are expected to be held in Topeka.
