Weather put a damper on Thursday night's big acts at Country Stampede at Tuttle Creek State Park in Manhattan.
Due to heavy rain and lightning, organizers pulled the plug on the headliners, cancelling Kellie Pickler, .38 Special and Charlie Daniels.
Fortunately, most in the crowd seemed to take it in stride. Tthey said the weekend's about more than the music - it's also about hanging out with friends and relaxing.
Storms didn't seem to be on most people's minds when the day began sunny and hot. Concert goers listed sunscreen, bug spray and water as must-have items for the weekend.
Country Stampede continues through Sunday.
