MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) _ Classes at Kansas State University's Cardwell Hall will be back in session Friday, June 27, after repairs caused by a June 11th tornado were completed.
Safety officials today gave permission to reopen the building after air quality tests were performed.
Cardwell Hall was closed Tuesday for testing after workers replaced parts of the heating, ventilating and air-conditioning system.
The university gave early estimates of $27 million in damage from the tornado. But officials expect that figure to grow as buildings are fully inspected.
