OLATHE, Kan. (AP) _ Authorities have arrested two men in an alleged cockfighting operation in rural western Johnson County.
The Johnson County Sheriff's Department says deputies confiscated more than 170 fighting roosters and a large sum of cash while executing a search warrant at a home about eight miles west of Olathe.
The two men who were arrested have not yet been charged.
The Sheriff's Department says representatives from eight other agencies, including the Humane Society, are assisting with the investigation.
