A maintenance supervisor charged with raping and impregnating a prison inmate has struck a plea deal in the case.
A count of rape was dismissed against Anastacio Gallardo. In exchange, he pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual relations and two counts of trafficking contraband in a correctional facility.
Gallardo was the victim's vo-tech plumbing instructor at the women's correctional facility east of Topeka.
He's scheduled to be sentenced July 23rd.
