Women Conference Helps Young Girls

This year's Florence Crittenton Conference for Women saw women from all walks of life come together to Think, Laugh, and Connect - that's the theme of the third annual conference.

The event offered a day of growth and camaradarie.

Three keynote speakers covered the three aspects of this year's them: Health and wellness professional and Washburn University professor Diane McMillan will open the conference discussing "Think." Maggie Kelley - a recognized expert at using laughter to improve lives covered "Laugh." And renowned Kansas author Laura Moriarty discussed "Connect."

Funds raised at the conference go to the Florence Crittenton Services of Topeka which provides help for troubled teenaged girls.
