Many organizations are offering help to those affected by storms.
The Kansas Insurance Commission is offering information for victims. You can call their Consumer Assistance Hotline, 1-800-432-2484.
Insurance Company claims adjusters will be working in affected areas. Call the hotline for adjuster locations. You should only work with adjusters from your company. DO NOT use a public adjuster. They are not licensed to provide services in Kansas.
The Kansas State's Treasurer's office is administering nearly $60 million in low-interest housing development loans to help those that need to rebuild after the storms. More information can be found at www.KansasStateTreasurer.com or by calling 785-296-3171. Click on "Home Loan Deposit Program" on the website.
Seniors affected by the storms can get help from the Area Agency on Aging in Manhattan. You can reach them at 800-432-2703 for information on available assistance.

The Red Cross is also accepting contributions for storm victims. Those can be sent to The Red Cross, 1221 SW 17th St., Topeka, KS 66604.
