The Kansas Riverfront Authority and Sasaki Associates met Tuesday morning to discuss the draft plan for development along the Kansas River presented by Sasaki Monday.
"What we've recognized is we want to make sure we're looking at both sides of the river - north and south," said Doug Kinsinger, president and CEO of the Greater Topeka Chamber of Commerce. "Now's the time for the public to review that plan and for people to provide written comment. We hope they'll do that so we can get a consensus of what the public wants to see with their riverfront."
If you want to comment on the riverfront plans, e-mail your ideas, questions or concerns to firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also mail them to:

Kinsinger says a timeline and cost recommendations for the riverfront project should be ready by August or September while the group gets feedback from the public.
The Authority meets again Monday, August 11.
