Engineers to Take Down Tank in Southeast Kansas

FORT RILEY, Kan. (AP) _

The 25,000-gallon water tower at Fall River Lake near Eureka is
used by the lake office and overlook. The tower was built in 1948
and stands 95 feet tall. It is operated by the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers.

Fort Riley officials said soldiers from the 1st Engineer
Battalion will bring the tower down as part of ongoing training.
