Garden City Police say several phony $20 bills have shown up around town in recent weeks.
Sergeant Michael Reagle says the back sides of the bills are printed upside down.
Reports of the fake $20 bills began early last week.
In May, police in Garden City and Dodge City got reports of
counterfeit $100 bills.
The money was real but made to look like larger denominations.
Police aren't sure if the $20 bills and $100 bills are connected.
Reagle says police have contacted the secret service, which has jurisdiction over counterfeiting cases.
