A 21-year old mother is identified as the woman killed by a tornado that hit Chapman late Wednesday night.
Danner Funeral Home in Abilene confirms the woman killed in the storm was 21-year old Crystal Bishop. An education fund has been set up for her young daughter, Bianca. Contributions to the Bianca Whitefood Education fund and sent in care of Danner Funeral Home, P.O. Box 758,

Three other people were injured by the Chapman storm, two of them critically. Updates on their conditions aren't available.
Emergency officials will reopen Chapman to the general public Saturday morning. The move will allow volunteers to help with the cleanup efforts. Anyone interested should go to the I-70 Chapman exit. Signs will direct them from there.
The tornado was reported to be six blocks wide did an estimated $70 million damage to the small town of 1400.
Sen. Pat Roberts, R-Kansas, toured the damage Friday. Also, the Shawnee County Sheriff's Office sent a patrol car and two deputies to Chapman to assist with law enforcement efforts.
