Some Kansans are not getting the stimulus checks they were expecting.
The money is being intercepted by the state to cover back taxes.
The Kansas Department of Revenue says it has intercepted 2,300 worth $1.2 million dollars.
Kansas isn't the only state doing this.
Missouri reports collecting almost $3 million.
Nationally about $842 million of the economic stimulus has been sent back to the states to pay past debts.
