Pottawatomie County sustained damage to 3 rural properties during the June 11, 2008 storm.
One residence sustained minor damage from debris that struck the residence which came from an outbuilding on the property. The residence and building were located in the rural Havensville area.
A rural Onaga farmstead sustained substantial damage from a direct hit from what the National Weather service estimated was an EF 2 tornado.
The home was heavily damaged by the tornado, as well as the outbuildings, vehicles, and machinery were destroyed. The single occupant of the home was asleep at the time of the Tornado strike, however survived the incident without injury. The third report was another farmstead located North of St.George.
The National Weather Service issued a Tornado warning due to radar indicated debris at an area 5 miles North of St.George. Damage was discovered on June 12th to a rural outbuilding in this area.
In the remainder of Pottawatomie County, power lines and power poles were struck by the same tornado in the area of the Junction of highway 16 and 63, as well as power outages effecting 63 homes. Crews are working on this issues at noon on the 12th.
