TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) _ U.S. Rep. Nancy Boyda is endorsing presumed
Democratic nominee Barack Obama's bid for the presidency.
Boyda represents the Republican-leaning 2nd District of eastern Kansas and had been uncommitted.
She reiterated that stance last week after Obama captured the final delegates he needed to secure the nomination.
But spokeswoman Liz Montano says the congresswoman is impressed with the Obama campaign. Montano said Obama is willing to contest all 50 states, rather than concentrate only on swing states.
Boyda was the last uncommitted member of the Kansas delegation to the Democratic National Convention in August in Denver. The state has 41 delegates.
Obama easily won the Kansas caucuses in February.
