(Topeka, Kan--) It's called Citizen Patrol and more and more Topekans are taking part to make their neighborhoods safer.
Several people showed up at the Law Enforcement Center to learn how to spot suspicious activity and what to report to
law enforcement in Topeka.
Participants got to check out the latest crime trends and prevention techniques during the four hour training session. The program is an extension of neighborhood watch efforts and works to mobilize neighborhoods in reducing crime.
If you are interested in attending a training session you can contact Judy with Safe Streets. The number is 266-4606.
