Red Cross Assisting in Clay Center

Two volunteers from the Manhattan-area American Red Cross are in Clay Center to help weather victims.

The town was hit by Friday's tornado.

Red Cross volunteers are assessing the needs and lending a helping hand. Clay County Sheriff's Office says 18 rural homes suffered some damage. Two are uninhabitable.

They also said a lot of out buildings suffered damage in the storm.
