Jo Ann Mayfield could not afford to keep her gas on, living on only $970 per month from social security. It was turned off and she needed help.

She received some help from the Salvation Army when they contributed $150. Kansas Gas agreed to allow her to pay $77 per month, in addition to her regular gas bill.

But now, she is saying she hopes she can catch up and stay caught up, since her gas bill, in addition to the debt bill, is still overwhelming.

Click the video to see what she has to say about her situation.

You can contribute to Jo Ann if you would like by sending donations to Blue Cross Blue Shield Credit Union, PO Box 1975, Topeka, KS 66601.

Make sure you mark your envelope so they know where to deposit the money.
