Relay teams are walking to honor cancer survivors, current cancer patients and those who have lost the fight to the disease Friday.
Hayden High School is hosting the Relay for Life of Shawnee County-Topeka.
Opening ceremonies started at seven with the cancer survivors' lap. A luminaria lighting ceremony started at ten.
The teams have a long night ahead of them, but they'll have country line dancing, games of texas hold 'em, limbo and all kinds of entertainment to help them make it to the seven a.m. closing ceremony.
