The man in charge of making sure Shawnee County emergency responders can talk to each other is moving on.
Bill Singer told 13 News Friday that he will retire, effective August 1st.
He's worked for Shawnee County for 13 years, and currently heads up information technology and the consolidated emergency communitions center.
The 65-year old says he's ready to take a break and spend time with family.
