Downtown Topeka Workers Getting Fit

A little laughter was mixed in with some exercise Friday morning. It was part of the Capital City Wellness Program.

The program is aimed at increasing the activity of employees in the downtown Topeka area.

Health humorist/comedian David Meinz spoke to a group at Westar to help motivate them towards their goals.

Organizers say they want employees to walk during their lunch break and shop at the weekly farmer's market. They say walking to the market and eating the fresh produce will help in obtaining their goals.
