HUTCHINSON, Kan. (AP) _ A Kansas teacher will stand trial on charges he molested a 15-year-old foreign exchange student.

Reno County District Judge Richard Rome's ruling Thursday, June 5 capped a preliminary hearing for Richard Young, 68, a former teacher at Buhler High School.

Young is charged with three counts of indecent liberties with a child and one count of indecent solicitation of a child.

He's accused of fondling a male foreign exchange student from South Korea in August 2007. The teen testified that Young started sexually abusing him within two days of his arrival in Kansas.

Prosecutors said three men testified that Young sexually abused them several years ago, and that they kept letters Young wrote to them in 1994 apologizing for molesting them.

Arraignment has been scheduled for July 7.
