Fort Riley to Conduct Exercise

Fort Riley’s personnel will exercise its resources to handle a mock emergency situation June 18.

As part of the exercise, access control points at the installation entrances may be affected along with traffic flow at various post locations.

“Although the exercise is on Fort Riley, simulating a crisis event, the capability and equipment Fort Riley has to deal with this crisis is available to our community partners in the event something should happen off of Fort Riley in the region,” said Maj. Gen. Robert Durbin. Durbin is the commanding general of the 1st Infantry Division and Fort Riley.
