Thornton Place Donates Teddy Bears

Thornton Place residents were beaming as they turned over 65 stuffed teddy bears they've made to Topeka Police officers.

The Topeka Police Department will use the cuddly donations for their "teddy bear" program.

Officers can hand these stuffed gifts to frightened children in crime scene situations to comfort them. Carolyn also helped out by letting everyone there keep their bears in her salon for th past month the effort honors National Police Week.
