The co-founder of a Northeast Kansas concert festival remains in jail Thursday after a judge denied his request for a bond reduction.
51-year-old Randy Long is charged with 18 felony counts of giving worthless checks and one count of misdemeanor criminal damage to property.
Long organizes "Dogstock" held in Melvern to promote a dog rescue foundation. He allegedly wrote several bad checks to vendors for the event totaling a loss of more than $48 thousand dollars.
Long has a preliminary hearing June 20th.
