Police Search for Suspect in Connection with Two Robberies

It's believed a young man in Junction City robbed a convenience store and then hours later robbed a grocery story.

Juntion City Police Captain Tim Brown says a white man in his early 20's, about six feet tall, armed with a knife, robbed the G & T Convenience Store on South Washington Street just before 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 27.

Then, just after 11 p.m. a cashier at Dillons on West 6th Street was also held up by a man with a knife and similar description.

The suspect was wearing a maroon hoodie with a yellow tint skull on the left shoulder.
